Australian pop rock band from Sydney, formed in 2011. Members: Luke Hemmings (vocals/guitar), Michael Clifford (guitar), Calum Hood (bass), Ashton Irwin (drums). Rose to global fame after touring with One Direction in 2013. First Australian act to have three consecutive #1 albums on the Billboard 200. Their sound evolved from pop-punk roots to polished pop rock and new wave on later records. Known for massive anthems like 'Youngblood' (2B+ Spotify streams) and 'Teeth.'
