Adrian H and the Wounds is a Portland, Oregon-based dark cabaret and gothic rock band led by vocalist and pianist Adrian H, who emerged from the Austin, Texas music scene before relocating to the Pacific Northwest. Adrian's hoarse, sonorous vocals deliver grim narrative songs about broken characters, with his ever-present piano anchoring cabaret post-punk arrangements; critics draw comparisons to Nick Cave, Tom Waits, Gary Numan, and Bauhaus. The band's catalog includes a self-titled release and the PONY EP, and they have toured beyond the Pacific Northwest.
