About
The Short Version

Coast Office is a band from Stockton, California (greater Sacramento region), trading in concise, kinetic pop songs that nod to Beach Fossils, The Jesus and Mary Chain, and Henry's Dress. The group is led by writer/multi-instrumentalist Bill Anders, with Matt Hull (drums), Leon Levy (bass), and Scott Belz (guitar). Arrangements stay deliberately simple, layering drums, guitar, ukulele, and bass beneath Anders' deep, dry vocals into short, hook-driven songs. Bandcamp releases include the full-length Marine Layer plus the Low Cycle Hum EP and a self-titled EP.
