DB.Boutabag (born Derick Blakes Jr.) is a rapper from Sacramento, California, raised in South Sacramento. He gained traction during the pandemic through Instagram Live freestyle sessions on the NorCal platform Thizzler, which led to a distribution deal and regional hits such as "Fettuccine." He built a following on party-starting anthems and quotable smack-talk, with viral tracks including "1st Off," "Don't Choke," and "Top Rapper" featuring the late Drakeo the Ruler. His album The Real Boutabag II (July 2025) features Big Sad 1900 and DaBoii and touches on personal themes such as fatherhood. He has also worked with the Sacramento Kings.
