A Filipinx American artist also known as "the Yellow Master," he began writing songs in high school during the rise of Filipino YouTubers. His sound pairs a crooner's voice with charming, story-driven lyricism, treating songwriting as a way of documenting events and aspirations to share with his community. Beyond his own catalog, De Castro serves as coordinator for the Sacramento Songwriter Circle, a cross-genre group that supports original music.
