Gavin Prophet is a Los Angeles-based multi-instrumental alternative-rock solo artist. A self-taught drummer who later picked up guitar, singing, and songwriting, he played in bands including Lonely Avenue before launching his solo project in early 2024, specializing in singing while drumming with an explosive, crowd-involved stage presence. His sound blends a modern, snarky lyrical take with nostalgic, upbeat alternative / early-2000s pop-punk energy. He has released prolifically — roughly a song a month — and his track "I'M NOT LAZY" surpassed a million streams. Recent releases include the 2026 album RADICAL. He has toured through Sacramento-region rooms including The Press Club and the Green Room Social Club (Placerville).
