HellHeart · Tune In
HellHeart is a female-fronted metal band from California's Central Valley (home base Manteca, in the Modesto/Sacramento orbit), formed in 2017 out of a project founder Jess Gilmore began in 2016. The quintet fuses metalcore, modern metal, and hardcore, fronted by vocalist Alie Grabowski, who moves between harsh and clean vocals over heavy breakdowns and melodic passages. They signed to SoCal indie label Dead Sea Records and released their six-song debut EP Where's Your Heart At (recorded at Ashtone Audio in Sacramento), winning Best Metal Band at the Modesto Area Music Awards, with Grabowski taking Best Vocalist at the Bands4Bands awards. They later released the EP Skeleton Cage. The band gigs regularly across the Sacramento region, including The Boardwalk in Orangevale, Ace of Spades, and Holy Diver.
