Los Ángeles Azules is a Mexican cumbia band from Iztapalapa, Mexico City, formed in 1976 (officially active from 1980) by the Mejía Avante siblings. Leading exponents of cumbia sonidera worldwide. Breakthrough hit "Cómo te voy a olvidar" (1997). First traditional cumbia group to play Coachella (2018); first Mexican act to enter YouTube's Billion Views Club. Billboard and Latin Grammy honorees; received the Hispanic Heritage Award for Arts.
