Led by composer/guitarist/vocalist Pascal Bokar (born in Paris, raised in Mali and Senegal, Berklee alumnus), the band fuses West African rhythms and melodies with bluegrass, jazz, R&B and gospel. Bokar has performed with Dizzy Gillespie and Donald Byrd among others; the band has played 60+ jazz and world music festivals worldwide. Based in the greater San Francisco Bay Area/Sacramento region. Member band of the Sacramento Blues Society.
