Pilot Waves · Tune In
Pilot Waves is an experimental instrumental project built around guitarist Matt Stober and percussionist Peter Kim, based in New Jersey. The duo blends a wide instrumental palette — guitar, vibraphone, glockenspiel, bass, drums, cello, and piano — into music that moves between experimental pop, jazz fusion, and chamber jazz. The project began with a self-titled debut EP (August 2021), followed by Pilot Waves II (February 2022) and Pilot Waves III (early 2026), emphasizing compositional interplay over conventional song structure.
