“3BallMTY (pronounced "Tribal Monterrey") is a Mexican DJ collective from Monterrey, Nuevo León, formed in 2009 by then-teenagers Sergio Zavala (DJ Sheeqo Beat) and Alberto Presenda (DJ Otto), with Erick Rincón joining shortly after. The trio became the global face of "tribal guarachero" — a fusion of regional Mexican music (technobanda, cumbia) with EDM, techno, and electro house. Their 2011 single "Inténtalo" feat. El Bebeto and América Sierra exploded across Mexico and Spanish-speaking markets, hitting No. 1 on Billboard's Hot Latin Songs chart and laying the foundation for what they call "latino electronica." The Sacramento date is part of the Reggaetonlandia Presents tour.”
