“BettySoo is an Austin, Texas-based americana and folk singer-songwriter, raised outside Houston by first-generation Korean immigrant parents. Her breakthrough albums Heat Sin Water Sin (2009, produced by Gurf Morlix) and When We're Gone (2014, co-produced with cellist Brian Standefer) placed her firmly in the front rank of working songwriters. She's collected the Kerrville New Folk award, Songwriter of the Year at Big Top Chautauqua, and the Dave Carter Songwriting Award. She also records and tours as part of the trio Nobody's Girl alongside Rebecca Loebe and Grace Pettis.”
