Citizen is an American rock band from the Toledo, Ohio / southeast Michigan area that came up through the 2010s emo and post-hardcore revival on Run For Cover Records. Their 2013 debut Youth made them a scene favorite, and each record since has pushed further from pop-punk toward brooding, textured alternative rock.
