“Diamantide is a Bay Area melodic prog metal band formed in 2023 by guitarist/composer Max Maggiari, with Nadin ZL on vocals, Alex Tamas on bass, and Joe Londeree on drums. Their self-titled debut dropped February 2025 on Wormholedeath Records, with guest contributions from Tom Englund (Evergrey), Mark Basile (DGM), and Roberto Tiranti — heavy guitars and orchestral elements stitched into a power/prog metal frame. The Old Ironsides show stacks Diamantide atop a deep Sacramento undercard — Acid Thrower, Tribus, Mask Of Many, and Obliteration — all regulars on the Sacramento Punk Shows circuit working the metal/hardcore corner of the scene.”
