“Dog Party is a Sacramento-based indie punk duo consisting of sisters Gwendolyn (guitar/vocals) and Lucy (drums) Giles. Formed in 2007 when the sisters were just 10 and 8 years old, Dog Party built a devoted following with their Ramones-influenced power-punk pop, drawing comparisons to The White Stripes, The Go-Go's, and The Runaways. Releasing seven studio albums — including their 2024 LP Dangerous on their own Sneak Dog Records label — they've toured across the US and Europe, and in 2016 opened for Green Day on the Revolution Radio tour. Off-stage, Gwen spins records as part of The Emo Night Tour, and the sisters co-founded Sneak Dog Records to champion other women-fronted projects.”
