“End It is a Baltimore hardcore band formed in 2017, known for an aggressive, frantically delivered take on '90s-influenced hardcore punk and a frontman — Akil Godsey — who has emerged as one of the genre's most charismatic figures. Their breakout EP Unpleasant Living (Flatspot, 2022) compresses five tracks of confrontational, system-questioning hardcore into eight minutes and pushed the band into the upper tier of the contemporary scene. Drawing comparisons to Leeway, Gut Instinct, and Maximum Penalty, End It have toured with the heavyweights of modern hardcore and built their reputation on punishing live shows that mirror the city they come from.”
