About
“FORAGER is a Brooklyn-based trio — Shyamala Ramakrishna (vocals, drawing on South Indian Carnatic tradition), Jack Broza (jazz/rock guitar), and Colum Enrique O'Connor (Afro-Cuban percussion) — whose music augments contemporary indie rock with intricate guitar work, melismatic vocals, and shapeshifting grooves. NPR's Bobby Carter called it "buttery" and "complex" and brought them in for a 2026 Tiny Desk concert. Their sophomore album, "Even a Child Can Cover the Sun with a Finger," ventures into rawer territory: whispered vocals over distorted drums, singable psych-pop choruses that disintegrate into mayhem.”
Brooklyn's FORAGER brings their brand of heavy progressive metal to Cafe Colonial for a powerful all-ages show.
