“Oceans of Ash is a Sacramento melodic post-metal quartet featuring members of Astral Cult, Flower Violence, and Rainbow City Park. Their debut album "Smoke Dreams" (November 2025) — recorded by John Bologni at Rosa Mortem and mixed/mastered by Patrick Hills at Earthtone Studios, both in Sacramento — blends crushing riffs, feral growls, and expressive guitar solos into a sound that is heavy, melodic, and unmistakably local.”
