About
“Romeo Santos — the Bronx-born son of a Dominican father and Puerto Rican mother — is widely credited as the King of Bachata. As the lead singer, songwriter, and co-producer of Aventura, he helped invent 'modern bachata' by stretching the genre's traditional heartbreak themes with R&B, pop, and hip-hop sensibilities. Aventura became the first bachata act to sell out Madison Square Garden in 2007. Santos launched his solo career in 2011 and has since filled arenas and stadiums worldwide with hits like 'Propuesta Indecente,' 'Eres Mía,' and 'Obsesión.'\n\nThis Sacramento date at Golden 1 Center is part of the co-headlining 'Mejor Tarde Que Nunca Tour' with Prince Royce — not two separate sets but a shared live experience from two of bachata's biggest modern voices. Doors 7PM, show 8PM.”
