“Samiam is a Berkeley, California punk rock band active since 1988, blending the urgency of Bay Area punk with melodic, emotive songwriting that helped lay groundwork for the 90s emo and pop-punk wave. Their major label debut Clumsy (1994) yielded MTV-airplay single Capsized, and after a 12-year recording gap they returned with 2023's Stowaway.
