“Secondhand Serenade is the solo project of California singer-songwriter John Vesely, whose acoustic guitar-and-vocal recordings became a defining moment of late-2000s emo and MySpace-era pop rock. Vesely's breakthrough single "Fall for You" from the 2008 album A Twist in My Story went platinum in the U.S. and turned the project's bedroom-recorded sound into mainstream airplay. The project has since released a string of acoustic-leaning EPs and full-lengths and continues to tour as an intimate solo show built around the songs that defined the catalog. The June 6 stop at Goldfield Roseville is a small-room acoustic-format date, doors at 7pm.”
