“Smooth Brains is a Sacramento-based 90s/00s alt-metal and nu-metal tribute band, formed in 2020. The high-energy four-piece tears through heavy tunes from System of a Down, Deftones, Korn, Limp Bizkit and the rest of the era's heavy hitters, building a steady following in the local scene. They share this Boardwalk bill with Sacramento DIY punk outfit Officer Dick — self-described as "all DIY, with tons of noise, questionable performances and cynicism."”
