“St. Lucia is the indie synth-pop project of South Africa-born, now Germany-based singer/multi-instrumentalist Jean-Philip Grobler, anchored alongside his wife and co-vocalist Patti Beranek. Shimmery, 80s-informed, festival-built: the band broke through with 2013's "When The Night" and have since released "Matter" (2016), "Hyperion" (2018), "Utopia" (2022), and "Fata Morgana: Dawn" (2025) — the latter marking a creative reset after the duo's move from New York to Konstanz, Germany. Expect euphoric choruses, live percussion, and a show engineered to move a room — the kind of set that made them a staple of Coachella, Outside Lands, and Lollapalooza bills in the 2010s.”
