About
“Sun Kil Moon is the primary recording project of Mark Kozelek, the Massillon, Ohio-born songwriter who fronted Red House Painters from 1988 to 2001 before launching this folk-rock vehicle in 2002. Named after Korean boxer Sung-Kil Moon, the project hit critical heights with 2003's Ghosts of the Great Highway and 2014's Benji — the latter widely cited among the decade's best records — and is known for long-form, conversational, often diaristic songwriting.”
Indie/folk veteran Mark Kozelek brings Sun Kil Moon to The Boardwalk in Orangevale — rare Sacramento-area appearance from a cult indie songwriter.
