“The Calling is an American rock band best known for the early-2000s post-grunge anthem "Wherever You Will Go," which spent a record-breaking 23 weeks at number one on the Billboard Adult Top 40 chart. Originally formed in Los Angeles in 1996 by frontman Alex Band and guitarist Aaron Kamin, the band achieved global success with their 2001 debut Camino Palmero (4x Platinum) and the 2004 follow-up Two. After a long hiatus, Alex Band has continued to perform under The Calling banner with a reformed lineup, revisiting the catalog — including "Wherever You Will Go," "Adrienne," and "Could It Be Any Harder" — for fans who came of age with adult-alternative radio.”
