“The Nightmares are a UK post-punk quartet — Adam Parslow (vocals/guitar), Eleanor Coburn (keys/vocals), Benjamin T. Mainwaring (bass), and James Mattock (drums/vocals) — formed in 2018 around shared loves of The Cure, Placebo, Interpol, Alkaline Trio, and the art of the séance. Signed to Equal Vision Records and Venn Records, they have built a dark but hopeful noir-pop sound around recurring themes of death, love, and mourning. Their debut album "Séance" (April 2023) followed two UK tours alongside Holding Absence and Tiger Army.”
