“TRAP Karaoke is a touring concert experience created by Jason Mowatt in fall 2015 — a 'user-generated concert' that puts the audience on stage. Around 15-20 fans get four-to-five-minute moments to perform their favorite trap, hip-hop, R&B, and Afrobeats records in front of a packed, roaring crowd, often joined by surprise celebrity guests. Past appearances have included Chance the Rapper, 2 Chainz, Yo Gotti, Sisqó, Ne-Yo, and even LeBron James. Mowatt frames it less as a party and more as a movement: 'We're not party promoters, we're community organizers,' he's said — a place where fans show up as participants in culture, not observers.”
