Myki Angeline
Host · Loud & Local
“Raw. Real.
And always loud.”
A Sacramento staple with deep Northern California roots, Myki has been a force in rock radio since 2011. From her early days at V103 Rock to sharing stages with icons at the NAMM Show, she's earned her stripes by championing the music, the artists, and the fans who live for it.
Myki is more than a host — she's a speaker, podcaster, educator, and award-winning advocate for music education and women in the industry. She's been featured in a journalism textbook, speaks at universities, and serves as Vice President of Girls Rock Sacramento, where she also teaches self-defense.
She knows the 916 because she's been in the rooms — booking lineups at the old Boardwalk, hosting afternoons on V103, launching her own podcast during the pandemic, and contributing to The Women's International Music Network. Now she's bringing that same insider energy to Sac Setlist.

— About The Show —
Sacramento's music scene deserves deeper coverage.
We lost SN&R. We lost Submerge. The scene is back but the coverage isn't. Myki's out here fixing that — one conversation at a time.
The Artists
Bands, singer-songwriters, and producers working in the 916 — their stories, their process, what keeps them here, and what almost made them leave.
The Scene
Venue owners, promoters, and community builders holding the ecosystem together — and the venues that shaped a generation before they closed.
The Culture
Music education, women in the industry, parents balancing gigs with raising kids, and older artists rediscovering their passion. People's stories — someone can always relate.
