Oleander
Oleander · Tune In
Oleander is a post-grunge and alternative rock band formed in Sacramento, California, in 1995, named after the poisonous shrub that lines Northern California highways. Its core lineup centers on vocalist-guitarist Thomas Flowers, bassist Doug Eldridge, and guitarist Ric Ivanisevich. After the independent debut Shrinking the Blob (1997), the band broke through with 1999's February Son and its single "Why I'm Here," which reached No. 3 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart and was certified Gold. They followed with Unwind (2001) and Joyride (2003), reunited to release Something Beautiful (2013), and continue to record and perform.
