About

Pennywise headlines this Channel 24 stop on their Spring 2026 West Coast tour, with Circle Jerks, H2O, and DFL all in support — a four-band punk bill with more than a century of combined scene history. Pennywise (Hermosa Beach, CA) built their name on melodic hardcore classics like 'Bro Hymn,' 'Same Old Story,' and 'Fuck Authority,' and have been a fixture of West Coast punk since 1988. Circle Jerks are Los Angeles hardcore-punk originators, fronted by Keith Morris (also of Black Flag / OFF!), who helped define the sound of American hardcore with their 1980 debut Group Sex. New York crossover-hardcore veterans H2O and LA skate-punk institution DFL (Dead Fucking Last) round out the lineup.\n\nShow at Channel 24 (1800 24th St) — doors 6:30PM, show 7:30PM.

Circle Jerks headline a heavyweight punk/hardcore bill with H2O and DFL at Channel 24 — must-cover for the punk audience.

Channel 24 opened on April 24, 2025, as Another Planet Entertainment's first venue built from the ground up. Located in a former electric supply warehouse at 1800 24th Street, the 2,150-capacity venue fills a critical gap in Sacramento's live music infrastructure - twice the size of Ace of Spades. The name has multiple meanings: "Channel" references both electrical terminology (honoring the building's past) and Sacramento's rivers; "24" marks both the street address and the 24-channel mixing board standard in music production. Opening night featured Tucker Wetmore, with Sacramento native Tycho performing the second show. In March 2026, CAKE (Sacramento's hometown heroes) christened the venue with three consecutive sold-out nights - their first Sacramento shows since 2019. Channel 24 joins APE's prestigious roster including Outside Lands, Greek Theatre, Fox Theater Oakland, and Bill Graham Civic Auditorium.
